Sitter in Toronto

hi. i’m riley. i drink too much tea and i share my bed with two cats and one stuffed octopus. sometimes i disappear into a book, sometimes into a playlist, sometimes under three blankets. i’m bisexual and kind of a homebody but with occasional bursts of wanting to be somewhere wildly different. that’s where your pets come in.

i’ve lived with cats since i could form memories. the ones who bite, the ones who stare at walls, the ones who talk at 4am. i know how to make them feel safe. i also don’t freak out if they puke on a rug. i’ve also taken care of rats, a bunny, and a gecko named toaster. i follow instructions well. you leave a list, i’ll do the list. your house will smell the same when you come back

i’m open to pretty much anywhere. cities with bookstores, towns with too much rain, flats with squeaky floorboards. not looking for anything wild. just a cat or two, a window, and a place to make morning coffee. no loud dogs please. i startle easily.
